The Annual Refined Heart Family Retreat is an opportunity for families to strengthen their connection with Allah ﷻ and grow spiritually while in the company of others and nature. It is held on a remote campsite in northern Michigan.

The retreat consists of:

• A carefully curated schedule that consists of regularly scheduled lecture sessions (covering a text of spiritual development), group worship, and dhikr under the guidance of Shaykh Ashhar. 
• Recreational and team-building camp activities are interspersed between these (to provide a wholesome experience and foster bonds of brotherhood/sisterhood).
• A dedicated youth program for children.

To ensure that participants will be prepared to engage in the retreat’s topics, all adult participants will be required to complete a short pre-retreat curriculum consisting of an audio series and quizzes. 

We hope to provide an impact that lasts beyond the weekend retreat. Our goal is for families to be inspired, encouraged, and given the tools necessary to support their lifelong connection with Allah (SWT).
