We are excited to announce our 2024 Spring I’tikaf Retreat, a unique weekend opportunity to commit to the masjid in order to deepen one’s connection with Allah (Most High). This retreat will provide a guided opportunity to disconnect from distractions and worldly affairs and instead focus on one’s spiritual development in the company of like-minded individuals. The retreat schedule and environment are carefully crafted to optimize benefit in a relatively short span of time.

During the retreat, Shaykh Ashhar Ali will continue to cover sections from The Book of Wisdoms (Kitab al-Hikam), a classical and famous work by Ibn Ata’illah (R). Recordings of prior sessions in this series from past retreats are available on the Refined Heart website, Apple Podcasts, and SoundCloud.

Brothers will be required to commit themselves to i’tikaf in the masjid for the entirety of the weekend (Friday evening to Sunday morning). Registration is limited to the first 50 registrants.

Additionally, this retreat will include accommodations for sisters to engage with the program on Saturday afternoon (2PM – 8PM) in a focused environment. Further details will be shared with registered sisters. Child care will be available as needed.
