Abu Bakr (R) wished to share the gift of iman with those around him. Al-Arqam ibn Abi al-Arqam was one such individual. Through his acceptance, Dar al-Arqam was established, to which many prominent Companions trace their spiritual roots, such as Suhayb ibn Sinan, Ammar bin Yasir, Mus’ab bin Umayr, Hamza bin Abdul Muttalib, and Umar bin Khattab, among others. Through the sacrifices of these great individuals, the deen was able to reach new heights, and was able to spread to distant lands. All of this is attributed to the early efforts of Abu Bakr, who fostered the iman of Al-Arqam ibn Abi al-Arqam, without even fathoming the potential downstream effect. .
