When Allah ﷻ loves a person, He opens up opportunities for them. However, due to our arrogance, we allow ourselves to become heedless of such blessings and let these windows of opportunities slip by, thinking that other opportunities will come along. The reality, however, is that we never know when death will come to us. How will we respond to Allah ﷻ on the Day of Judgement when He recounts our heedlessness to His calls? What could we possibly say on that day when we will be witnesses against ourselves? We must not take these opportunities for granted, but rather, be quick to respond to the invitations of Allah ﷻ.
